This is a programme which enables A-level students who are proficient in the Spanish language to practise their skills in the Spanish workplace. Our homestay centre is situated deep in Andalucia, Cordoba, a declared World Heritage Site, which is a living legacy of the diverse cultures that settled in it throughout history. To take a stroll through the historic quarter of Cordoba is to discover a beautiful network of small streets, alleys, squares and whitewashed courtyards arranged around the Mosque-Cathedral. 

This programme is ideal for the motivated Spanish language student wishing to improve their Spanish in a working environment.

Students will be offered work placements in:

• Hotels
• Children’s nurseries
• Cafes
• Restaurants
• Retail industry

Students will be expected to participate fully in their work placement and will then be able to reinforce their language skills within the comfort and security of a host family environment. All placements are within easy access of their host family accommodation, however, local transport tickets will be provided on weekdays for the students to get to their work placements. Sunday will be a free day and there will be plenty of time to explore the local sights!

The programme is designed for a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 paying students. Students will arrive on a Saturday and will depart the following Saturday allowing them ample opportunity to enjoy a week long work placement. They will be placed individually occasionally in pairs in host families.
