FOR STUDENTS 16+ YEARS OLD

Lille Region – Paris – St. Malo - Nantes

This programme enables ‘A’ Level students, who are proficient in the French language, to practise their language skills in the workplace. Ardmore Educational Travel has close links with a wide variety of businesses through our partners in France. We can place students to many different industry sectors, such as; 

• Tourism
• Hospitality and Catering
• Working with Children
• Administration
• Retail and the Leisure industry.

Students will stay with a French host family enabling them to enjoy the French way of life and practise their language skills with native French speakers. Students will be  placed according to the location of the firm they are working for and will be accommodated in single placements. Students will have the opportunity to carry out various tasks to in the workplace. The tasks will not be complicated, but will give the students a taste of life in a French workplace. Students placed in schools and shops may not be working on the Monday or Wednesday.

Paris - Lille Region (Armentieres) – St. Malo

Groups travelling to Paris and Lille will arrive by Eurostar on Saturday or Sunday afternoon; groups travelling to St Malo will travel on an overnight ferry crossing on Saturday evening to arrive in St Malo on Sunday morning. Students will

spend Sunday with host families and start at their work placements on the Monday morning.

Nantes

Students can arrive in Nantes either on a Saturday or a Sunday. However, if possible, we recommend arriving early Saturday afternoon. This way they can be shown the route to the work place and have an orientation in the town on Saturday afternoon and have a free Sunday with their host family.
