APRES SKI – After the slopes close, the fun goes on at the on-mountain White Cap Fun center, which offers snow tubing, ice skating, dining and more. For Friends and Family and Adult groups, don’t forget that the Foggy Goggle après-ski bar “reigns as
monarch of the late afternoon apres-ski scene” according to the Boston Globe. For school groups – nearby Bethel offers an indoor climbing wall, laser tag, a movie theatre and shopping. When it’s time to eat you’ll have your choice of more than 20 restaurants. And best of all, there’s a free shuttle serving Sunday River and the Bethel area.

At the eastern end of the resort, White Cap features some of the most challenging terrain on the mountain with steeps, glades, and the legendary bump run White Heat. Obsession is a long Black run full of rolls and variation in pitch.

Next is Locke Mountain, where the first runs on the mountain were cut. Predominently Blue trails include favorites like Cascades, Monday Mourning and Sunday Punch. The lower section of Locke is also home to our superpipe and the Rocking Chair terrain park.

Barker Mountain features a high-speed quad serving a variety of popular runs. Three Mile Trail is a Green run starting here and winding across the mountain. Ecstacy is a Blue leading back to the lower trails on Locke, and Right Stuff is one of the most popular Black runs at the resort.

Spruce Peak offers two long Blue cruisers, Risky Business and American Express, and the short and steep bump run Downdraft. Spruce also offers quick access to the western side of the resort with the Green run Sirius.

North Peak is home to the mid-mountain Peak Lodge, and a variety of great Green and Blue runs. With a high-speed lift and long runs, North Peak is a great spot for families.

Aurora Peak features a mix of Blue and Black trails, and one of the longest and best glades on the mountains – Celestial.

OZ is a unique bowl with advanced Black and Double-Black terrain. Runs here are a mix of glades and open runs full of natural terrain features and steep pitches.

Jordan Bowl boasts the best scenery at the resort, as well as some of the best runs. All abilities will find something to their liking here, with long Green and Blue cruisers like Lollapalooza and Rogue Angel as well as advanced glades.
