The Real Colegio Alfonso XII is one of the most prestigious boarding schools in Spain and is part of the Monastery of El Escorial, located in San Lorenzo de El Escorial, 30 kms from the centre of Madrid.
The Unesco Organisation has designated the Monastery “Heritage of Mankind”. Your students will be accommodated in the College itself, which is part of the monastery and which also houses the Royal Palace, The Pantheon of Kings and the Library. Accommodation is standard boarding school accommodation with shared bathroom facilities. Your group can take advantage of the common rooms for evening activities – or the playing fields at the rear of the College, if the weather is fine! |

Day 1: Meet and greet at Airport. Transfer to Residence.
Day 2: Full day excursion to San Lorenzo del Escorial – El Escorial, Monastery, Valle de los Caidos.
Day 3: Full day excursion to Toledo – El Alcazar, El Greco Museum, Iglesia de Sto. Tome La Cathedral.
Day 4: Full day excursion to Segovia – Visit the old town, Cathedral and Museum, Vera Cruz and Roman Aquaduct.
Day 5: Full day excursion to Madrid – El Prado Museum, Palacio Real, Lunch in Jardin Botanicos, Reina Sofia.
Day 6: Departure from Residence and transfer to Airport.
